About

I am a Principal Engineer at Bridgestone Americas in Akron, Ohio. I am the Past President of the Tire Society and have also served as its Vice President (twice), founding chair of the Conference Committee, Program Chair, Associate Editor, and Session Chair. I joined the society in 1998.

I have over 35 years' experience in a wide range of tire and automotive testing applications. These include: tire contact mechanics, force and moment, snow, wet, and dry traction, modeling, durability, and rolling resistance. I have designed, built, installed, and operated test systems, and I have also been active in ASTM, SAE, and ISO committees.
